how many amps does it put out that is the question?????

    Visit freemicrosoftpoint[DOT]com

  3. TheTeslaJet

Nice, I’d use that to charge a laptop when the grid goes down from magnetic storms coming with cycle 24 of the sun. LOL!

  4. Blacksilver113

Its really effective but so noisy that a lager version might cure you of ever having to listen to music again…

    ADD A LARGE CAP
    YOU could POWER YOUR HOUSE

  6. Axbent

how many amps can this produce?

  7. chrigel1234

It is simple… if the current goes through the body and across the heart or brain, it becomes dangerous. A general rule says that currents of 50mA and above can be lethal. But if a current goes only from hand to elbow (for example) you will most likely survive higher currents. If the current goes through your heart, it will come out of pace and finally stop working.

Voltage itself is not dangerous. A static discharge that hurts lightly can have 20’000 Volts… only the current is very small.

isnt it the path through the body that is the critical factor .some people have been hit by lightning and lived, and as a teenager i touched a british rail overhead powercable carrying 25,000 volta AC .biulding sitesin the UK are manditory 110 volt because it is much less likely to kill you than 240 V

  9. wilsxf314

It’s not the voltage that kills, it’s the current.

  10. firedude201234

precisely thats why it hurt like hell when i shocked my self with 490 volts of electricity but didnt kill myself lol

  11. soccertrain

What are you measuring? Have you tried to measure the horsepower and torque of the motor?

  12. blameitonwho

thats crazy i have the exact same model, i still have the box too, only problem is mines a little burnt up..

  13. piercebm

its not the voltage that kills; its the amperage that does the real damage…

  14. gronki1

Have you tried to insert a resistor and an ammeter? Just curious how much power can it generate.

  15. richardmid67

Be careful with this advice! In the USA it might not, but in other parts of the world, 230V ac can kill.

  16. saegin

a shock from the wall wont kill you, it doesnt carry enough amperage

  17. PinotGB

    it’s good!

  18. spokesmann

    Interesting.

In sert the meter in the circuit of the generator only, Inserting in the line voltage from the wall could be deadly. Consult a professional electrician.

Ummm your boiler is powered by electricity. you are using more power then generating, probably. It is not the voltage so much that you want it is the current. The BOX may have the wattage, then you can set your meter on amps and insert in series to read your current. Maybe it is possible to make a perpetual motion machine, once the water boils by AC switch to the A/C current from the generator, then you would just have to ad water. GET a professional to do the mods for you.A/C can be deadly.

How clever! It’s cool to see one of these miniature steam engines actually generating electricity. We know it can generate at least 24 volts without a load. I too wonder what it would be capable of in terms of power under load. Try it with a 12 volt lamp and see how bright it lights. Measure the voltage under load then measure the current through the lamp. Power in watts = voltage x current.

If anyone knows of plans for sale to build a relatively simple steam generator for at least 5KW, please let me know. Thank you.

  23. BigglesPiP

    25V of potential, nice.

What is it with a load on the circuit.

  24. santape

I build them myself and sell them on EBAY. Find my id on EBAY, I am psantama. Look at my recent feedback, there are about ten I sold recently. If you want one I can make one for you.

What is that generator Called? Where can you bguy one? Thanks Soo Much
