How can you store electricity made with a simple electric generator?

I have made a simple electric generator-- cardboard box with gar magnets inside, wraped on copper wire. Is it possible to store that energy in something? Maybe rechargeable batteries?

rechargeable batteries are your best bet. You will need a multimeter, and measure the voltage output of your generator, then pick rechargeable batteries a bit lower in voltage.
